Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of SK-INBOX, a free temporary receiving service for test emails. Provider: Seibl Klaus Synergie, Hans-Carossa-Straße 17, 84323 Massing, Germany, email: info@sk-synergie.com.

2. Purpose

SK-INBOX is intended exclusively for lawful testing, development, quality assurance and notification tests involving systems operated or legitimately used by the user. It is not a full email provider and must not be used for permanent, confidential, business-critical or legally retention-relevant communication.

3. Service scope

SK-INBOX creates random temporary receiving addresses. Messages may be received and displayed during the indicated lifetime. Sending, replying, forwarding, custom addresses, user accounts and permanent recovery are excluded. Features, lifetime, storage and volume limits may be changed at any time.

4. Permitted use

Permitted use includes receiving the user's own test messages from systems the user operates or is authorised to use. All applicable laws and third-party rights must be observed.

5. Prohibited use

Spam, phishing, fraud, impersonation, harassment, malware, bypassing access controls, automated bulk use, scraping, load attacks, unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights and unauthorised account creation or verification are prohibited. Special-category personal data, credentials, payment data, health data, official documents and other highly sensitive information must not be processed.

6. User responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the recipients, content, legality and consequences of messages sent to SK-INBOX. Only data that may lawfully be processed and transmitted may be used. Suitable test or anonymised data should be used.

7. Temporary storage and deletion

Inboxes and content are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted no later than the configured expiry. Earlier deletion may occur. No backup, archiving or recovery service is owed. Short technical delays in removal from caches or mail queues cannot be fully excluded.

8. Security and content display

Protective processing is applied. External content, scripts, active elements and certain file types may be blocked, sanitised or rejected. Attachments are accepted only within defined limits. These measures do not replace the user's own security review.

9. Availability and changes

There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability, successful delivery, response times or freedom from errors. The service may be restricted, changed or discontinued for security, maintenance, capacity or legal reasons. Temporary addresses may become invalid without notice.

10. Suspension and abuse prevention

Where abuse, security risks or legal violations are suspected, access may be limited, inboxes and messages deleted, technical identifiers blocked and protective measures taken. Information may be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required.

11. Data protection

The privacy notice explains personal-data processing. Only data required for sessions, security checks, abuse prevention and logging is processed. Users must not submit third-party data without an appropriate legal basis.

12. Intellectual property

The software, design, texts, marks and other SK-INBOX content are protected. Reproduction, distribution, modification, decompilation or commercial exploitation beyond statutory permissions is prohibited.

13. Liability

Use is at the user's own risk. For free services, liability follows mandatory law, in particular for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. To the extent legally permitted, no liability is accepted for data loss, failed or delayed delivery, blocked content, lost profit or indirect damage. Mandatory liability remains unaffected.

14. Indemnity

To the extent legally permissible, the user shall indemnify the provider against justified third-party claims arising from unlawful or contract-breaching use where the user is responsible for the breach.

15. Term and termination

The usage relationship begins upon acceptance and ends when the temporary inbox expires or is deleted. Provisions intended to survive remain effective.

16. Amendments

These terms may be amended where required by technical, legal or security changes. Continued use may require renewed acceptance.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections of the user's country of habitual residence remain unaffected. Where legally permissible for merchants and public-law entities, jurisdiction is the provider's registered office.

18. Severability

If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective and the statutory rule applies instead.
