The Communication Plan helps project teams define communication requirements in a traceable manner and select the most suitable communication channel for each situation.

The template combines project data, revision information, notes, and defined assessment criteria with a clear communication matrix. Urgency, importance, volume, frequency, distance, content, cost, and security can be evaluated against the available communication media and prioritized.

Included functions:
• Project title, project number, revision, and change date
• Free-text notes for project-specific requirements
• Explanation of all eight assessment criteria
• Prioritized matrix for face-to-face communication, telephone, letter, cloud/internet, email, conference, Teams, and digital signature
