The Work Backlog – Burndown Chart Excel template provides a simple progress view for sprints, work packages, and internal backlogs. Project and sprint information is documented together with the current recorded status in one compact overview.

The chart compares the ideal line, the entered actual progression, and completed work packages. This makes the documented status easy to review during meetings and internal coordination.

Included sections:
• Project name, project number, client, and cost center
• Planned start, planned end, sprint status date, and reporting month
• Figures for total, open, recorded, and completed work packages
• Burndown chart with ideal line, actual progression, and completions
• Free-text notes area

The template is suitable for small project teams, agile sub-tasks, and basic progress meetings. It is an Excel work aid and not a complete project management system.
